With 53 chainrings, I can swap out my cassette to 11t or 12 t quickly to match a course, but with compact, you can't get higher than 4.54:1.
For TT, many guys can push 54/11 (eek).
I thought about Compacts, but math won over hype.
While you're swapping out your cassette, I'll put my FSA 53 tooth 110 BDC (compact) chainring on...

How's that for hype?
