the brake says Bendix not sure of the hub. Its probably what ever the standard red stripe Schwinn rear hub was in the day. I messed with it again yesterday and got it to "freewheel" with very little side movement.

I am now looking at Shimano coaster brake hub with Alex DH19 700c rims in the rear and Shimano HB-TX500 in the front. I'm pretty sure 700c 28's will fit in the fenders.
