Bogester (Rob) mentioned he wanted to explore the Middle Fork Road (which I have written about on the forum many times before) beyond the Pavement.
I met him in North Bend this morning and we rode out to the Middle Fork Road via the Snoqualmie Valley Trail.
The road tips up sharply when the pavement ends. It’s loose and rocky for about a mile before the pitch lets up and we can relax.

We stopped at Dingford Falls for a snack and photo op.

We ride for another mile or so when I start to have derailleur problems. I could still shift but the chain kept bouncing off the lower pulley.
I think part of the inside lower fully cage broke off. Kind of bummed about that but it was sure nice to meet up and ride with Rob today.
