lug pattern NERVEX 45/159

fork crown BOCAMA

appears mid-to-late 1970's

one wonders if the Cycles Competition transfer set is one which can be purchased as a generic for those bicycles which lack one...

it closely resembles the pattern employed by Cycles Groleau:

here is a case where someone has affixed a set to an older tandem -

forum member non-fixie has commented upon the subject of generic after-market transfer sets in some of his posts. perhaps he shall be able to comment here...

should you wish to pursue an identification of the machine one thing you could do to advance matters would be to make some detail photos of the frame showing spots such as: bottom bracket shell, seat cluster & joinery of taper tubes to frame ends.

one manufacturer who made extensive use of this lug pattern for some of their contract builds was MICMO (Gitane). it is of course something available to all.

if you are able to get the detail pictures up prior to member MauriceMoss 's next visit he may be able to recognize the maker for you.
