Does that mean they had early release of the Mod 50 brakes or was the first bikes fitted with the Universal Mod 39?
My gut says the Folgorissima came initially with the Mod 39 and then then Mod 50 - but does anyone know?
Thanks in advance

FWIW, the 1949 Bianchi team bicycles were fitted with Model 39, based on extant race photos. There was a Folgorissima for sale on Ebay a few months ago and , IIRC, it had Model 39. If you do an "Advanced Search" of closed auctions, the listing should be viewable.
