Rode a regular 30 mile route with a minor variant. Down to the Manhattan Bridge to Brooklyn. Instead of heading straight north I stopped at the Dekalb Food Hall where my son works as a barista. A spot of cold brew and a conversation later I rode north along the Hipster Trail through Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Long Island City and Astoria with a loop around Roosevelt Island. Took the Triborough Bridge to Randall's Island and over the 103rd Street footbridge back to Manhattan, then west across Central Park to home.

El Eye See.

59th Street Bridge (Feelin' Groovy) from Roosevelt Island.

Looking at the FDR Drive across the East River.

Hell Gate Bridge.

"Be one with your ass, for it bears you". Heard somewhere a looong time ago and it's still relevant.
