Nice work on the reconfiguration as well.

That's what has been called the "hubbub" cable routing, useful for running Shimano 9s drivetrain parts with 10s Ergolevers.

No worries of the cable eating away at the cable housing stop adjuster support, today's 11s derailers seem worse in this respect than your setup, so they've got a plastic sleeve there for the cable to run in.

Pretty interesting Dura Ace logo I thought. Always expected it to be a silk screen. My guess is that the "DURA ACE" letters are cast raised letters with some kind of epoxy or hard black substance surrounding them. I was concerned about damaging it and used a super sticky rubber tape to protect it from the Zep commercial industrial Purple cleaner even though it may have not been affected. Once dry and during the sandpaper process I just used a carefully cut piece of green painters tape to protect it
