Raw silver isn't really an option with carbon components, unless you finish them in metal plating, which would be silly. The next obvious generic component color to go with is black. And if a whole bunch of stuff is black, it's easier to match things if everything is black. Mixing silver with other colors is doable, but it's easy to get it wrong and end up with something that looks bad.
