I ride bikes and motorcycles. This video from Dunlop tires, in the 70s about how & why MCs wobble & weave, is quite interesting. Notably, they differentiate between wobble and weave. A big surprise was how both weight placement and size of rider makes such a difference. This could explain why some of you have recurring trouble and others do not.
