So .. my new old Ironman has a serial number of N6P6754 ... So, going by Post #62 in this thread, it was the 6,784th from made in the 16th ('P) fortnight, in 1986. So, late July, early August 1986. Just in time for the 1987 model year, I guess. Interesting.
