bb-7 brake mounting to tight?
I've got some BB-7 brakes from my parts bin. I have a Salsa Mukwa carbon fork for my 2015 aluminum Beargrease fat bike.
I'm trying to mount the calipers to the fork but I think I'm missing some spacers or something. When I tighten down the caliper bolts onto the fork-mounting holes, the wheel doesn't move. Not because the pads are touching the rotor, but because the entire top of the caliper assembly is leaning against the edge of the rotor.
Does that make sense? I see a lot of "CPS" mounting kits for Avid brakes on Amazon, etc. but nothing that says if they're going to work with BB-7 mech disc MTB brakes.
