Personally, I don't give a rip about any of it. My 2004 Bianchi Vigorelli has a frame that was made in Taiwan, but I still love it.
The way I see it, if a bike fits like a glove, is comfortable, relaible, and has a decent weight ... I couldn't care less WHERE the frame is made.
As is the case with my Bianchi.
How many of you drive "European" cars that are made in countries other than in Europe? VW comes to mind, for one.
Globablization has recued the need for such petty talk, in my opinion.
