Yes, macular edema. I had a vitrectomy on the right eye in 2010 but the doc doesn't want to do one on this eye for some reason. I hate to sound so dramatic because it's way more common than I ever realized. There was a person ahead of me getting the same procedure and I've talked to others that have the same problem. It's just that when it happens to you, it feels so devastating to suddenly lose eyesight.

The drug works somewhat because I have a little better vision this AM and the eyeball pressure is much better so I assume the macular swelling has gone down some. Hopefully, he can stop the leakage and I can keep what vision there is left. Didn't work the last series of injections.

One last thing, it makes bike riding more exciting at intersections.
