I've never, not even once, caught flak for my trunk bag. For a day trip with a pal, they're absolutely handy as hell. I can fit tools, first aid, a lock, a pump, a 6er of tall beers (it's insulated!), a sandwich, and some snacks in mine. I haven't done a tour yet, but I'd even consider taking this thing on a 3-day or less trip.
