I can appreciate that. But, usually, you don't have the choice: there is only one local bike that matches up with your very specific search. And you may never know how the owner acquired it. I always ask for the history of the bike. Sometimes it's well known, sometimes, not.
Or, in my case, none. Which is why I don't own a Litespeed now.
To be fair, I was looking for ONE model, from only one or two years, in what turns out to be a less common size.
