The company was called Titus Titanium for a while but most all switchblades were aluminum. And that bike clearly is aluminum.

Titus used the classic HL design with a front pivot at the 11 o'clock position near the BB. That gave a very active ride but one that could bob a ton if you were not a smooth peddler. Also, I personally found old style HL bikes to work best with a coil shock. The anti-squat numbers for those old Titus bikes were bad in the granny ring, terrible in the middle ring and really, really terrible in the big ring. If you are going to ride it, I would highly recommend going to a 1X system with as small as a front ring as you can use.
