Peugeot frame ID help

A friend owns a bikeshop and he is offering me an old Peugeot frame that has been hanging in their store since the 80s. In the attached photos one can note that the only telltale sign that it is a Peugeot is the headbadge. According to his father, the other frame decals might have dried out and fallen off or it came as a sheet for the owner to install. At any rate, owing to its age, a lot of the history of this frame has been forgotten. Sadly, even the fork is missing. Being that it is such a rare find in my part of the world (Philippines), I am willing to give it a go and slowly build it up.

I have read in other forums that French-made bikes have different measurements for their tubes that make them difficult to look parts for? I hear like the seat tube, steerer tube, and BB are of different measurements than other brands? I am thinking of a retro-modern build with Campy components to make it more serviceable. Would the new Campy or Shimano groupsets work on these especially with the measurements issue like the BB?

As one might notice, there appears to be some impression left by the other decals on the white frame (downtube towards the BB shell), but I cannot seem to find any online resource that shows decal placements as such and a model of the bike with the exact headbadge design; that would have made it a bit easier to trace its origins. Perhaps this is an Asian market model?

"Peugeot Super Deluxe"

Note absence of braze-on shifter attachments. Are Peugeots clamp-on?

"GT-IV Suntour" dropuouts. Asian market version, perhaps?

Would appreciate recommendations from the Peugeot gurus. Thanks!
