Sounds cool! I've got a 9s Record Titanium rear (I think) and picked up the 9/8 conversion kit, but I think I'm actually going to run friction anyways. One thing I considered is rebuilding the rear wheel with something like 1.8 DS and 1.5 NDS spokes, due to the apparent Campagnolo hub bracing angles and also the propensity for these to crack/bulge (none of which I have experience with firsthand). I'd dig again before building, but I found this interested when I last read it. I think it had some info on max tension which seemed a bit low but again I didn't dig into it in detail.
