I know WD40 makes a lube (in a spray can) that's specific to bike chains and I'm wondering if these 2 are similar. Or is the one that comes in a small bottle better ?

Thanks.
WE40 is really not a lube. It is a light oil that can stave off rust on steel. But it has no functional lubricating ability except in things like locks which need a light oil in the tumblers.
