NOTE- I have the Super Record groupset with the boxed "A" on the components. You need to have compatibility throughout the main components of the driveline to make 11 spd SR work.
The following components must all have the boxed "A" marking- Shifters, Front Derailleur, Rear Derailleur. The crankset is also marked with the boxed "A". Campagnolo wants you to run everything boxed "A", but I would guess that the crankset wouldn't matter.
There was quite a substantial change within the span of the 11 Speed gruppo. Even the front derailleur has a different pull ratio.
If you are building an 11 spd groupset piece by piece, you need to match the components to the iteration.
ETA- It's pre and post 2015
Interesting thank you for the information. Yeah mine is 2015+ Ultra Torque Record 11. I was under the impression that the only difference between 2015+ Ultra Torque Record 11 and Super Record 11 crank was the CULT bearing, Titanium bolt and reverse thread. I did not know that the CULT crank bearings were different dimensions from the Record crank bearings. I could have sworn the bearings were interchangeable for 2015+ Ultra Torque 11. I knew the Super Record was ceramic and thought I read somewhere that the Super Record BB (cups) did not come with a certain seal (spindle maybe?) and the Record BB (because the bearings were not ceramic) had that seal.
