That's what I call "common sense", which is apparently not that common at all!
Your dang "common sense" (which is neither common nor sensible) tells you that bicycling is not a low risk activity, AND that any activity that could "potentially" raise risk (no matter how insignificantly) should be avoided, no matter what the benefit.

No thank you; keep your common sense to yourself and don't imagine that you are the arbeiter of common sense.
