In a removable faceplate you're ok with a 25.4 in 26.0 clamp, but in my Nitto Technomics where the bolt has a shoulder on it to keep the single-bolt clamp from tightening past a certain point, its a bit sketchy. The bars have slipped a hair on one or two occasions. Its ok though, I live on the edge.
