Yeah I got the Beavertail clip on fenders so I could easily take them off when I load the bike in the back of my van, but the BB area and adjoining tubes (and my feet) can still get wet and messy.
OTOH, they do a decent job of protecting the rest of me and the rest of the bike.
Still, I think I will try to find something full length and able to handle 26x2.2. If it can be easy to install and remove, so much the better. And definitely time to get long fenders for the Schwinn running 700x32.
