Ran across something interesting concerning the Facet. I have a 1986 Centurion Facet. It was the only aluminum frame Centurion ever sold and a one year model. The Diamond Back Arrival is the exact same construction, 7000 aluminum and color. Mine is marked "Made in Japan." We know Centurion and Diamond Back were designed and sold by the same company. It's interesting, but no one has figured out who built the Facet and this is definitely the same construction, but in a different geometry.
Only a couple of owners have submitted the serial numbers for their Facet. Based on this very limited sample size, the manufacturer would appear to be Yamakuni of Japan. For confirmation, please post your serial number. TIA.
