IDK I do think Sram is kinda nifty and somehow more fitting (for me) on a race bike. I like that it's light and that you can pull the shifter paddle closer while in the drops. Helps w my small hands. Plus it just kinda feels racey.

But it mostly just pisses me off. It feels tacky and requires more adjustment over a big period of miles, but YMMV.

Really the whole bike just pisses me off. 2016 Venge expert w Sram Force 11. But its got all the fast bits on it and the price was right (ex team bike). My daily is a 2013 Giant TCR advanced ISP w Ultegra 11 and box rims. Superior in every way except maybe holding speed when its fast, but that's not a critical factor for me when training on anything but my TT bike.

Also yes it is fun to complain
