Earth shattering; ground breaking: spray a little WD-40 in your air pump chuck and it will come off the *#$!%# valve without breaking the needle. I've broken two presta valves trying to work the chuck off in the last two months. I'm sure there's a good reason why I shouldn't be spraying a lubricant down into my inflation unit but I'm not interested in listening to sound reason at this point. Oh, and if you get some on your tread...get it off with a good coating of armorall <snicker><snicker>
