I concur. I think those swoopy Dura-Ace and Ultegra cranks looks out of place on an '80's lugged steel frame. If you still got the Superbe Pro stuff on your bike by all means keep that. Rivendell Bicycle Works might still have some Superbe Pro cranks lying around that you could get. Don't forget the bottom bracket since I think the taper is a different angle.

Campy Centaur and Veloce would be a good choice, too.
