Thank you for the feedback. I'd always been a person to choose practical versus following trends, but now that I've far surpassed what is a practical number of bikes to own, was just wondering if there was more appeal from others to see a bike that was more or less preserved in an "as sold new" condition versus one "modified to suit current owner" condition. This particular bike isn't exactly super high on my "gotta own" list, as it were. Just came along at a good price and was easy to obtain so I added it to the stable of Celeste bikes to bring out in public view on occasion, ride it 2-3 times a month and maybe as a rooftop adornment on my old cinquecento that I bring to Italian car shows. I've got another Bianchi, an X3, that I'm building up into a clone of my team-supplied first real race bike even using the components I still own that once adorned it. That will be the celeste that gets the most ride time from me; hopefully my first Eroica in the not too far-off future.
