That was this morning for me! some lady in traffic decides, "I'm gonna pull overrrrrr................HERE!" no turn signal, no nothing.

First commute of the week and the roads are all mostly clear but the ride really wasn't fun. As I've stated in other posts, I ride a full on rodie and I need to cross two bridges to get work. One of them was completely unplowed/shoveled in spots so I had to use the hand rail to keep from falling over.

I've come to realize that I need another bike , an intermediate bike, something to transition from light snow/slush to dry pavement. I actually have a Specialized Sirrus with Disc brakes that might do the job. I got it second hand so I need to take a look at it, but some nice cyclocross nobbies and flat pedals may work well. Wifey was on the "I spend too much money on bike stuff" rampage, hence the bike not being winterized .
