Ok, good to know; but it looks like a half-dozen of them will cost me well north of $300 in local currency.

LBS sold me an alloy cartridge bearing threaded headset, new, no brand, no box, just in a nameless bag, nice enough, fifteen dollars. 24 TPI but I have a use for that one as well.

The french ones are to convert to 26tpi; I have two forks to fit, if I have things set up for the conversion I might as well have spares, and maybe a few for members here that want a nice alloy headset for their nice old Raleigh.

I have a 25x1 A9 headset, very nice but that's going on a french fork, I'd take half-a-dozen of those if the price was right...
