Very nice weather: Sunny, mid-40s (F), and a bit of a breeze. I rode the fast bike today and my legs responded. That's always a nice feeling.

Last night on the way home, I stopped to buy some Valentine tulips for my wife. The motorists on the rest of the way home were very respectful. Coincidence? Probably not. My theory is that if they see a guy on a bike carrying flowers it clicks for them that he's a person with someone who cares about him, and not some obstacle to be gotten around or run over.

Maybe I'll carry flowers home every night.
