This is the problem when people ask for the best and then don't want that they want cheaper. It is hard to search these days to find the best of anything as it usually goes to cheap stuff I don't want.
However I have been happy with my TRP Spyres with Kool Stop pads and Shimano Ice-Tech rotors with Elite Link Housing. The stock stuff on that isn't as good but is easily replaced.
I do want to try Klampers as I really like their other brakes (I own a set of Motolites in 3DV and they are great) and have heard great things about them so maybe if I end up on another cable braked bike I may try them out.
