They wound up getting more rain than anywhere else. That was where the campground flooded and several people died. Anyway my wife didn’t want me going that way as there very well could have been bridges out. Probably good advice.
I heard, sad. We're downstream from the Piedmont, so as well as the high water we had from
our rain, the creeks and rivers are still rising here.
