Thanks for all of the feedback, folks... I'll be seriously considering a full Dura Ace 7700 group set for my next "slightly modern" build now. Previously I only had Campagnolo stuff on my radar but I keep running across bicycles sporting this stuff that just look rather fabulous (like the Zullo below), and my previous experiences using Shimano's STI system were always enjoyable.
