it appears that you are once again correct the serial number, I believe brings it in at 1982. The derailleurs are both dated 1977(TC &TD) the rear brake caliper is shimano exage, probably later 80s the brake levers are schwinn (weinmann) front brake is dia-compe. This thing has parts from all over, I left it in his care, thanks for all your help - Gerry
