The short answer is yes. I don't ride one now, At some point in my future, if I have trouble swinging a leg over the seat of a bike, I will have a choice. Ride a step through frame or don't ride any more. I will ride a step through frame. I believe Grant Peterson said something similar. I am not a Grant follower, but on this point I agree.

Also, having used bike share bikes and riding my wife's Raleigh aluminum frame Venture step thru, these frames are plenty sturdy enough for men. I'll even admit that when I test ride the Raleigh, I like it.
