Yes. It's a freewheel, otherwise my FR1 wouldn't fit.
I did attempt to remove using my 10" crescent wrench, and it wouldn't budge - hence the question.
Thanks for the confirmation. I will resort to penetrant and additional force without fear of ruining something.
