rn I'm thinking that I may take my foot off the gas pedal with my current trajectory of base training, which has been timed routinely this pre-season. There are not likely to be races in February (VoS, Roger Millikan etc) and there are plenty of other things that I can be doing.
So like dropping from a planned ~16 hour average over the block, vs like 12 or 13 or something. That way, I can ramp up to being fast fairly quickly (1 month/block) and not have it be too strenuous overall.
So on that note, I'm dropping my 6 hr ride today down to 5, lol.
