As
Pompiere pointed out, the order would be switched by bicycle manufacturers to circumvent the rules, not because the official order of the stripes was changing. For example, that Schwinn does not follow the UCI order so is only meant to mimic the idea of the championship stripes. The color arrangement of the Olympic rings is also a popular one to copy. That's blue, yellow, black, green, and red.
