Got a set of C17 Zonda. Upon close inspection, nearly ALL spokes on both front and rear wheel have some "cracks" that look very suspicious:

1. Cracks are located right next to each nipple.
2. Each crack measuring 1-3mm in length and very fine, like hair
3. Cracks are very straight and non-jagged.
4. Only visible under a strong light source.
5. Cannot feel the cracks by fingernails.
6. Cracks are all parallel to the spokes, never perpendicular.

To be honest I'm not even sure they are actual cracks or not because they are so uniform and non-random. The wheelset has only been ridden for 1000km in dry condition. Scouring the internet and I got an impression that spokes can't even get a fatigue crack like that...
