Hello all, I’m wondering if anyone can advise me on how many lights I can run with a Shimano Metrea UR-700 dynamo hub. I’ve already ordered a Busch & Muller IQ2 Luxos U 70/90 Lux headlight and a IX-Back Senso USB tail light, as well as (off-dynamo) a battery-powered Toplight Line Plus BrakeTec rear light as a backup. If I can safely and efficiently run another good headlight on the dynamo, that would be ideal. What you need to work out is how much power the lights draw. The hub puts out 3 watts, but I can't find power requirements for the two lights you have chosen to run. If you can find that information, then you can figure out if you have enough extra capacity to run a third light.
