2020 YTD update

Today is my fourth in a row with a 50 mile ride. I now sit at 7660 miles YTD. I have had 4 days off the bike already this month, now on a bit of a push to get to the 8000 mark. 18 days left in December to get there. The extended weather forecast is predicting considerably colder temp and quite a bit of rain. I may have to do some adjustments with my rides, but just 10 days with 34 miles gets me there. I do not see myself ever topping this year, mileage wise.

I do not feel like I am stressing over the numbers, or overdoing it, but, I do feel like it would be a shame to be so close to 8000 and not get there. Other than a sore rear end, I have really enjoyed all the miles this past 4 days. I have ridden a different bike each day, first Lemond Poprad, second Lemond Tourmalet, next, my Ochsner, and today my Airborne Zeppelin. The bike I have been riding the most, Soma Smoothie, is on the rack getting some clean up/maintenance done.

With all the challenges in 2020, I will have also have some really good things to reflect on., especially in my two wheel world.
