That might depend on who built the frames for Fuji and Georgena Terry.
Wikipedia indicates her Terry Precision Cycling sold 20 bikes in their first year of business which was 1985, the year of this article.

But....the information from Bicycling Nov/Dec 1982 presented in the post below indicates Proteus credits Bill Boston's influence on the smaller front wheel frame design of their featured bike.
