Actually I think you have sanded most of the paint off of it. I can see faint numbers at the lead edge of the sanding, the far right. It may still be possible to cover with tracing paper and pencil etch lightly to reveille.

Yup.....take your time, you seem to be in too much of a rush.....use PB blaster and soak the stem and seat post before trying to"wrench on them.
One can do a lot of damage by trying to do too much in a short period of time, you own it now so don't hurry.
