You're not too old for a bike like that if you like the colors, it just makes your personality one of the colorful people. So if it's still available and you're still drooling over it, buy it and live it up while riding with a smile on your face, I bet you'll compliments on it as well.

The interesting thing about that bike is that it won't be everyone's cup of tea, so it may not sell fast which means you have more room to negotiate a price on it if the seller is motivated to move it out of his house sooner rather than much later. I would offer him 20% less than his asking price and see what he does with the offer, if he's motivated you'll find out real quick with his counteroffer, then I would try to settle for a price in between his counteroffer and your initial 20% off offer.
