I had a hard time switching over to 25s from 23s. Still not really buying it, but as long as I can stay with the group.
I'm considering the 25/28 thing for the Bianchi and the Ritchey. I was able to run 28s on both, but on the Ritchey the fork clearance is so miniscule that the slightest misalignment causes rubbing. On the Bianchi, the frame and fork have about 3mm or more of clearance, but the brake mounting bolt only has about 2mm clearance.
But since we're into the wet part of the year, the steel bikes don't leave the garage. Plastic bikes only till probably April, so I'll probably just leave the 28s on the Bianchi and think about the Ritchey come Spring. It's my trainer bike anyhow.
