Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Unless this bike has great sentimental value, and it doesn't sound like it does, sell it now, even in as-is condition. Buy a newer bike when and if you start riding again.
