as sad as it sounds, insurance things are starting to sound interesting. i work on the commercial side of things, and the majority of clients i service are tiny non-profits, so its not to devilish. i dont get too involved with anything, i have free access to postage and xerox machines, internetting is easy enough, i make zines in my sparetime (which is 9-5 usually), i can read when there's nothing to do, we have a huge parking lot that empties out into the bay a mile south of the airport, so the scenery is nice and i can ride in circles all afternoon, and we have a huge stainless steel kitchen. i always go home and tell myself that i am only 23, have only been graduated and done with college for a year, so i can always go back. and i can leave here at the drop of a needle. i appreciate the city a lot more though, and my free time. work, in general, will never agree with me. oh well.

d&o is interesting stuff.

ah the kafka-insurance parallel. i feel buggy and bugged most of the day, i've been through court two times and each time was as veiled and vague as it was for sad old k, but that castle does still always remain in the forefront of my vision. i do like my dad alot, thankfully (ie not as bad as k's judgement)...
