The old bridge is there, but - at least when I rode it a few years ago - there's a gap at the channel. I presume the new bridge has higher shipping clearance than the old bridge, resulting in that section being removed. It would be great if they'd connect that somehow for bikes, but it would be a significant structure to get up high enough for shipping.

When I rode this, my buddy was maybe 1/4 mile ahead of me but he took the old bridge thinking it went through. After that he was a long way behind lol.
