I agree with the above. Have you ever used it? If not, consider removing it and recabling the FD. It's easy enough to adjust the FD cable at the pinch bolt, especially since it's a double.
I've used the front adjuster exactly twice. Once, when i first got the bike. And a second time when a few weeks after I had new cables installed and the chain started rubbing against the front derailleur cage.
Oddly, I've never had to use the adjuster for the rear derailleur which I have set up for friction shifting.
